This is a great filing for chocolate cake with chocolate fudgy frosting. It reminds me of the inside of a Reese’s peanutbutter cup! Its so easy and delish!
Ingredients
1c. of peanutbutter (i use reduced-fat, only because its a bit thicker!
3tbsp. of softened butter
1/2 to 3/4 c. of brown sugar (to your liking)
Instructions
Cream the butter with the peanut butter, until blended and creamy. Add in the brown until well blended. Spread on the inside of a cake as a filling! I probably would use this as frosting, unless you maybe added some powderd sugar.
Do you have to cook the brown sugar to keep it from tasting grainy? Or just add it in straight out of the bag? I have a great Icing that would go perfect with this. :-) Thank you for posting!

do you mind sharing the icing you plan on using?
Sorry for the late response, but i just add it in because it adds a nice crunch!
Do you use salted or unsalted butter? I'm making a chocolate fudge cake n this filling would go perfect with it.
They do have they granulated brown sugar, that may not be so crunchy as the brown sugar you have to pack.
