Peanut Buttercup Cake Filling

This is a great filing for chocolate cake with chocolate fudgy frosting. It reminds me of the inside of a Reese’s peanutbutter cup! Its so easy and delish!

Ingredients

  • 1c. of peanutbutter (i use reduced-fat, only because its a bit thicker!
  • 3tbsp. of softened butter
  • 1/2 to 3/4 c. of brown sugar (to your liking)

Instructions

  1. Cream the butter with the peanut butter, until blended and creamy. Add in the brown until well blended. Spread on the inside of a cake as a filling! I probably would use this as frosting, unless you maybe added some powderd sugar.

Do you have to cook the brown sugar to keep it from tasting grainy? Or just add it in straight out of the bag? I have a great Icing that would go perfect with this. :-) Thank you for posting!
