Car & truck themed first birthday cake. The oversized cupcake was the smash cake. The bottom tier & cupcake were rich chocolate cake with chocolate buttercream & the 2nd tier was cream cheese pound cake with buttercream icing. The cakes were covered in fondant with fondant details. (July 2014)
Boba Fett minion cake created to celebrate Craig's birthday at Jeep Jamboree. Craig is a big Star Wars fans & one of his favorite characters is Boba Fett. I had been wanting to do a minion cake & so this cake was born. He was a big hit :-) The cake is peanut butter cake with chocolate buttercream icing. He is covered with fondant with fondant details. Onesie baby shower cake for a co-worker. They don't know if they are having a boy or a girl so I had to keep it gender neutral. The cake is Mounds Layer Cake covered in fondant with fondant sneakers. Duck Dynasty Cake. A simplistic Uncle Si made for my nephews 14th birthday. He is cream cheese pound cake colored to look like camo, iced with butter cream icing & then covered in fondant. What do you do when you work in a retina & optic nerve research lab & your bosses b-day falls on meeting day? You make an eyeball cake of course! Cream cheese pound cake with lemon curd filling & buttercream frosting. Eyeball is covered in fondant complete with a "bloody" fondant optic nerve. Lettering gets smaller to resemble an eye chart. Garden/bee themed wedding shower cake. The veggies represent some of those that can be found in the garden of the bride to be. The not so scary scarecrow was added for fun. She loves bees so I added some buzzing around the sides of the cake. The cake is vanilla cake with strawberry frosting & fresh strawberries tucked in between the layers as well. All the details are made from fondant with piped grass. (July 2014)

Minecraft cake for Cody's 10th birthday. Cocoa banana cake with chocolate buttercream frosting & fondant details. TNT & minecraft cake on top are rice krispie treats covered in fondant. 1300 half inch squares were tiled on the cake one by one! Featured on the cake are the wither, zombie, spider, pig & chicken all made from fondant. I logged the time this cake took & start to finish it took me 25hrs! (February 2014)

This was fun to do as I had made Judson's baby shower cake last year. The top & bottom tiers are cocoa banana cake with chocolate buttercream & the middle tier is cream cheese pound cake with vanilla buttercream. (March 2015)
Baby shower cake for a baby boy. The cake is chocolate cake with a chocolate chip cheesecake center topped with chocolate ganache & then covered in chocolate buttercream. The baby block is made from rice krispie treats. All the details are made from fondant. This is one of my favorites, I didn't want to give this to my customer.....lol (April 2014)
Loved creating this baby shower gender reveal cake. The fun part was that for 3 days I was one of only 3 people who knew the sex of the baby. Mom & dad only found out themselves when they cut the cake that they are having a girl! The cake is cream cheese pound cake (done in pink ombre) with vanilla bean buttercream covered in fondant. The boots are made from gumpaste & all the other details are made from fondant. (November 2014)
Sugar skull birthday cake. I like this one so much better than the first one I did.... The cake is cocoa banana cake with chocolate buttercream, covered in ganache then fondant. The flowers are made from gumpaste with all the remaining details done free-hand with edible markers. (January 2015)
Triceratops birthday cake. The cake is vanilla cake with chocolate buttercream icing, covered in fondant. The frill is foam board (covered in fondant) & is the only part that isn't edible. (February 2015)
