Purple Modern
This was made for a Friday evening wedding...pretty large event! Cake was 6-8-12-14 and is all buttercream and the flower is silk. The bride found a picture online and loved the technique (as do I), just tailored it to her needs! I've been dying to try this technique after seeing all the beautiful cakes here on CakeCentral!

Pipe Flange Assembly Method
As I have received so many requests re the pipe flange assembly method I use, I thought I would make a collage of the steps I take! This inexpensive do-it-yourself method allows me to deliver my cakes fully assembled! When done correctly, and layers supported using traditional supports, this system has been fool-proof for me and I can literally drop off my cake and go! No more assembly-on-site! The cakes are simply threaded down onto the PVC pipe, ensuring no shifting during transit!

Black & White Damask With Teal Peacock Accents
I've done this design before, but this time with a twist. This is white buttercream with black buttercream stenciling on top. It is accented with teal dragees, silk ribbon and flowers and a custom rhinestone and peacock feather brooch! The sizes are 6"-8" (7" tall) 10"-12" and the black "seperators" were 2" tall foam disks covered with ribbon.

Fenway Park
Although the customer was on my books for weeks, they requested a 3D cake a couple days prior...and being GREAT customers, I had to do it! Due to short notice, I didn't have time to make all of the accents gumpaste/fondant, but they didn't mind! The cake is a 2-layer 12" square, carved; buttercream with brick impression mat, piped details, sugar confetti "fans" and foam details (such as penants, flag, lights, billboards). *reproduced with permission from Red Sox marketing dept...they were SO nice when I called!

Stenciled And Quilted Wedding Cake
The sizes are 6" - (4" foam riser) - 8" - 10" - 14". It is all buttercream with diamond quilting on 3 tiers, buttercream stenciling on the second tier. There are sugar pearls at each diamond intersection that have been rolled in silver/lt blue disco dust (although not very visible in the picture), and the bride provided the silk flowers and topper. Each tier is also bordered with blue sheer ribbon with rhinestone ribbon on top of that.

Wedding Gown With Gray Sash
This was made for a bridal expo I participated in this past February, so it was a display...not real cake; but I have made several of them in the past! I simply draped the Wilton Wondermold pan with fondant for the gown, the bodice is a doll "bodice" with arms, legs and head removed and covered with fondant and then covered with sugar crystals for "bling". The sash is silk ribbon...oh, and the "ruffly" part under the wasteline was made with thin gumpaste and my peony flower cutters!

Ivory Scrolls
All buttercream with "rounded" top edges, alternating tiers of smooth buttercream and buttercream scrollwork with lavender sugar pearls. There are double borders on the scrolled tiers, a #18 shell finished with fondant pearls, and real satin ribbon on the smooth tiers, with rhinestone brooches. The entire cak was also sprayed with super pearl luster for added sheen, although not very visible in the picture.

Silver Majesty
This "out of the box" design is covered in fondant and airbrushed with silver luster dust, The piping is royal icing mixed with piping gel for fluidity, accented with edible purple pearls and silver dragees. The flowers are gumpaste and the topper is silver twigs from the floral department for added pizazz. This was my least favorite design because it's simply not my style, but I'm glad I took it to the bridal show because the younger brides were drawn to it!

Bling Blow!
This was a centerpiece display cake that I made for a bridal show and it's fondant, quilted with an impression mat and accented at each intersection with a rhinestone! Although the rhinestones on the dummy were not edible, I had a smaller cake on-hand at the show with edible rhinestones on it (made with fondant pearls rolled in super silver disco dust), and the brides went NUTS over it! I must admit, it was quite a show-stopper in all the lights sitting on the silver plateau! The "risers" between the tiers are foam covered with rhinestone ribbon!

Chocolate Blues
Inspired by another cake design, this is a mixture of fondant and buttercream tiers (blue is buttercream, brown is chocolate fondant ). Chocolate buttercream stenciling on the blue buttercream with silver dragee accents and silk floral topper. This was also an unexpected favorite at the bridal show in February!

Gingerbread Snowflake Cookies
I've always wanted to make these cookies and finally did it this year! I sold TONS of them, so they're going to be a regular holiday offering from now on! I used Martha Stewart's gingerbread recipe, royal icing piping finished with white sanding sugar! VERY easy and so pretty! I sold them as platters and individully wrapped with Christmas ribbon!

Christmas Ornament
Wilton's 6" round ball pan (2 halves); all buttercream with piped buttercream scrollwork. All is sprayed with super pearl luster and edible sugar flakes, with some gold dragees here n' there. The berries are for decor only and the hook on top is actual wire inserted in gold lustered cap on top.

Bling Bling Snowman
Ok....I personally feel this design borders "tacky", but the customer requested an all-white "BLINGED" out 3d snowman cake to match her holiday decor! And, she specifically requested the top hat! He's all buttercream encrusted with sugar, with fondant pearl lustered eyes and scarf, a fondant nose rolled in edible sugar flakes ad nonedible rhinestone buttons and other accents! The arms were nonedible sprigs I found at a craft store and I grouped them together and dipped them in white chococolate before inserting them in the cake! I made the hat out of felt and applied rhinestone accents! I call him my "ghetto snowman"!
