Save The Bees
Was so delighted to receive Gold and Best in Class for my cake which was inspired by “sustainability” at Cake International, Birmingham. The flower centre was made dot by dot, making bees was also painstaking as I kept loosing the gelatine leaves but it got from Ireland to UK intact and was a labour of love overall.
Made this for a little friend who is a Big Harry Potter fan, it was a chocolate cake, made the stands with Fondant which had CMC added for strength.
St. Anne's Church, Cork. Ireland
Made this church for our local sugarcraft exhibition and was delighted it received a Gold award. This was a sugar sculpting made to scale and took 12 weeks to complete. The Church continues to be a place of worship since 1722.
Late In The Night
As most cake decorators work through the night, this was my concept for Cake International 25th Anniversary celebration cake and was delighted to receive a Gold award.

South Sea Island
This was for a friend who got engaged on a South Sea Island, the top and bands which were nonpareils were features from her dress. The cake was gluten and dairy free.
On The Catwalk
This was made for a textile designer incorporating a lot of her designs. Flexique was used to make her dress which was easy to use.
In The News
Made these for two important people in my life who both work in the media. Thought it would be fun to make something from the time they were born
