Pirate Ship Cake
Made of 6-7 layers of homemade chocolate cake. Filled with homemade vanilla frosting. Carved and crumb coated with 2 coats of buttercream. Fondant is an almond/vanilla marsmallow fondant. Sails I made by hand, pirates were bought from toys r us, rails are made of lollipop sticks, anchor, ladder and cannons are made with gum paste, blue vanilla frositng for the ocean. This cake got detroyed in route to delivery. As I am a solo baker with no help/team. It was too heavy in the back. Long story short-I fixed the entire back and stayed up all night and delivered it the very next day. I attached a photo of the new cake that was deliverd, it is a little messier than this one because I was doing it on 0 sleep and was in a rush. Lesson learned.

Sugar Princess!
I had to make a ton of these for a women's group. I made the tiaras myself on my computer, I just bought 8.5x11 pink thick paper at the store and put it in the printer. Using a very simple program I typed "Princess" in dark pink. I also put sticker pearls around "Princes" I put 3 tiaras per page, printed them, cut them out. I do have my own template that I made and saved on my computer now for the tiaras! I frosted the tops of the cupcakes in a lot of different ways and then sprinkled edible glitter on top. Some of the tiaras... I glue-sticked paper gems on each prong.

Female Zebra
Covered this 4 layer, 2 tier cake with chocolate frosting and marshmallow fondant. I cut the zebra stripes with a pizza cutter. The only thing that isn't edible is the "1" and the ribbon. I bought a plain wooden #1 and painted it white, then painted thin black zebra stripes, then glued a pink bow.

Pink, Bassinet Baby!
Strawberry cake. I made 3 layers of cake then shaped the stacked layers into an oval with a long sharp knife. In between each layer I put a layer of frosting in between so they can stay secure. After frosting the whole 3 layer oval, I measured and rolled out an oval shape of fondant and covered just the top for a smooth bottom for the baby to lay on.. I made the hood out of gum paste. TIP: Roll out gum paste and cut it into a hemisphere and lay it out onto a bowl of whatever size you need and let it dry for 3-5 days. I made the mistake of waiting til 2 days before and the gum paste didn't dry all the way and started collapsing little by little. I covered mistakes with frosting! I used a basket weave tip for the outside and attached sugar flowers and pearls to the basket weave. I rolled out fondant and cut out a square for the blanket. The rocking horse etc are not edible. The flowers and pearls are.

Rubber Ducky!
This was my very FIRST cake I made with fondant a couple of years ago. I was inspired by a photo I saw and renovated it. 2 layers of cake, frosted then covered in marshmallow fondant. Circle cutters and strips of fondant were used. I cut the strips out of a knife (which was a bad idea because the edges, as you can see, are jagged) I learned my lesson and I now use a pizza cutter! I cut a hole in the ducky's head (Poor ducky) to insert the candle. I out frosting on Mr. Ducky's bottom to secure it to the fondant bubbles. TIP: Brush egg white on fondant to make it look shiny.

Present-Ation
I made this 2 tiered squared cake out of fondant. 2 layers of cake per tier. After baking the cakes, I cooled them for 30 minutes in the fridge, frosted them, rolled out marshmallow fondant and covered them. TIP: Roll out the fondant before you frost you cake so the frosting doesn't get too dry. I cut out the circles with a circle cutter and made the bow out of fondant, cutting the strips with a pizza cutter. (My name is in the background because I used this cake as proof for making my cake via photos)
