Calla Lily Bridal Shower Cake
The bride loves calla lilies and cornflower blue, so that's what she's getting. This is my practice cake because I've never covered a square cake in fondant before. The corners are a b*tch!! Anywho, the real cake will be white almond with a raspberry filling, and white chocolate ganache, covered with fondant. She also wanted the white pistils (hope that's the right word) instead of yellow. TFL and please leave comments or criticisms. :-)

Baby It's Cold Outside
I had so much fun making this cake. The cake board is covered with light blue fondant, and the "snow" is royal icing. The figures are all gumpaste/fondant mix. The trees are just cones of gumpaste/fondant that are snipped with crafting scissors. The "igloo" was baked in 2 pyrex bowls, ganached and covered with white fondant. Impressions were then made with a dull knife to resemble ice blocks. The doorway is made from 2 rice krispies treats, smooshed together and wrapped in fondant. The inspiration for this cake was one I saw by Melissa Diamond of My Cake School. TFL

More Fishies
I guess I've got a thing for fish cookies. LOL. These are cream cheese cut out cookies, with a modified royal icing. The fish were cut and iced separately, then attached to the larger cookie. The fins, tail, lips, etc. are added after the fish are attached to the fishbowl. To get the rim look on top, cut off about 1/2" while the cookie is warm, then after the royal is dry, add a snake of white fondant. TFL

Pink And Green
These are done in royal icing, and stencils were used for some. (you can probably tell which those are.)The colors are from Americolor: electric green and electric pink. I know the picture quality is lame, but I'm just getting the hang of food photography. Also, I included these in a package I sent to Treats for Troops in Florida. You should check out their site; it's a great cause. TFL

Baby Shower Cupcake Bouquet With A Little Extra
One dozen cuppies, made into a bouquet using the cup method. I generally use those "tulip" shaped liners from Wilton, inside the plastic cups, just to make it look a little nicer. Since I was also making 2 dozen cookies for the shower, I put a few of the "faces" in bags, and attached a stick to the back of the bag, as suggested by Karen of Karen's cookies. The cake pops were red velvet and key lime, to match the cuppies. TFL.
