8" cake with fondant / Gumpaste cross air brushed silver. This was my first attempt at any type of scroll work, I think I did ok. The scrolls I made out of buttercream with silver ball embellishment.

This bow was an oops! My plan was to make a normal stacked bow but because of the size of the cake 4" the bow was too big and so became this design LOL.

This cake was requested from a bride; Edible sugared pansies; took me 3 months to grow, sugar and dry. 8" red velvet and 10" lemon cake with lemon buttercream the whole cake is covered in vanilla buttercream icing to give a rustic/old fashion look.
This is not my original design but one I found on-line. Once again it took me much longer to make then I had anticipated?.I guess that?s just the life of a baker LOL!

Club house is made from cereal treats. Cake is 8"x 11" iced in BC and embellished with fondant. It took longer then expected.
I used 2 Wilton soccer ball mold cake pans and then stacked the 2 cakes together. It took me two tries to get the lines right (made out of fondant). The first try looked like a beach ball LOL. Then I iced in buttercream using a # 18.

This was my first attempt at a book cake. I thought I would try writing on it with edible markers but I found it really difficult as the fondant is so soft and the marker tip was large......any tips from other bakers?
These were a hit at my son's school. The bun is a vanilla cupcake cut in half. The middle is a brownie cut with a small round cutter, then I added bc for the lettuce, ketchup and mustard and I topped it off with a simple syrup to stick sesame seeds to the top.
Chocolate cupcakes with fondant super hero face. I made the fondant faces a couple of days ahead and kept them in a sealed container......Was very easy to make!

This was made with 24 cupcakes, iced as one big cake and then made a FBCT of the jeans and then topped off with fondant embellishments.
