Simple Purple And White Wedding Cake
This was a VERY last minute cake - the bride ordered it on Saturday and wanted it for the Monday! This was a 6/8/10 wedding cake with all buttercream icing and purple fondant calla lillies. The 6" was a cocoa cake, the 8" was a chocolate chip cake and a 10" was a vanilla cake. She was inspired by a 3 tiered baby shower cake I did, and wanted me to translate it into her wedding cake with the only specifications being that it was purple and white. All of the cakes are single layers with no filling at the bride's request. When I delivered, it turns out the shade purple that I used for the icing and the flowers was the exact shade of purple used for the wedding. TFL!

Welcome Baby Girl Cake
Three tier baby shower cake made up of single layer 6/8/10 cakes. The 6" and 10" cakes were vanilla and the 8" cake was chocolate chip. All iced with vanilla buttercream and fondant accents. Cake inspired by a photo provided by the client which she got from "Sweet Art Cakes". TFL!

Pink & Brown Diaper Bag Cake
Done for my friend's baby shower. It was made from 2 quarter sheet chocolate fudge cakes that were cut in half, filled with nutella buttercream and stacked. I used the panel technique to put on the sides of the cake and put "slouches" in each panel to make it look like the way a real diaper bag does when it sits. It was my first time doing a diaper, baby booties and pacifier and it was so much fun to see it all come together. TFL!

Aqua And Yellow 40Th Anniversary Cake
Done for my Pastor and his wife for the church's anniversary party for them. Although it was their Ruby Anniversary, the theme was based on their original wedding colours which were aqua and yellow. I did a vintage looking cake as I knew this was something they would really like! This is a 6/8/10 cake. The 6/8 cakes were banana cake with dulce de leche filling. The 10" cake was a coconut cake with coconut buttercream filling. All iced with buttercream. Satin ribbon borders, 50/50 gumpaste and fondant calla lillies and leaves, and the fondant plaque on top has an edible image of their original wedding photo. I was really proud of this cake. TFL!

Basketball Jersey Cake
Carved from a quarter sheet red velvet cake for a Chicago Bulls fan! I did the white version of the jersey as I figured that the inside of the cake was red and all of that red dye might be a little off putting to eat at one time. Buttercream icing with fondant lettering - simple but the client loved it!

I Heart Kitty
An 11x15 double layer marble cake with dulce de leche filling. Iced with vanilla buttercream and decorated with an edible image. The little girl loves cats, so she just thought that the cat on the image was a generic picture of a cat...little did she realize that when she blew out her candles and opened her eyes the cat was actually her birthday gift! Such a cute idea - her mom is really creative and came up with it.

Surprise Birthday Leopard Print Cake
Ordered by the coworkers of the customer who ordered the animal print cake. Her actual birthday was during the week, and they ordered this leopard print cake (since leopard print is her favourite) for her birthday. Buttercream icing on the cake (including the leopard spots). Fondant bow and fondant lettering on the cake board. I hand painted leopard spots on the fondant letters but it's hard to see.

Wild For 30 Birthday
Ordered by a customer for her 30th birthday - she loves animal print so this is what she requested. The top tier is a 6" coconut cake with bailey's irish cream buttercream filling. The middle tier is an 8" strawberry cake with a bailey's irish cream buttercream filling. The bottom tier is a 10" coconut cake with bailey's irish cream buttercream filling. All iced with fondant. Ribbon border and fondant accents. The leopard print was hand painted with wilton gel food colouring and vodka. Thanks for looking!

Orange Wedding Cake
Done for a friend of my aunt's. The bride wanted a 3 tier cake but not all of the servings so each of the cakes are only a single layer, baked in 3" deep pans. The top tier (6") was an amaretto cake. The middle tier (8") was a pina colada cake. The bottom tier (10") was a rum n raisin cake. All fondant icing and fondant swags with fabric ribbon border.
