Ok, so this was a tough one. A family member asked if I would make a cake for their friend for her 20th birthday. The birthday girl recently lost her mother. I was asked to make it girly, and include football, specifically Chicago Bears, something to do with Belle from Beauty and the Beast. "No problem" I said. This is what I came up with. The cake was a vanilla cake with berry buttercream, covered and accented in MMF, and modeling chocolate.
I made this cake for my sister who just turned the big 5-0, and still younger than ever!! Chocolate cake with white chocolate mousse for the bottom tier. Second tier was a red velvet with a classic cream cheese filling. And the top was a vanilla cake with a mixed berry buttercream. Covered and accented with MMF, dragees and gum paste.
This was a birthday cake for my daughter. She just wanted something simple, and she loves the pink and brown color combination. Devils food cake with a vanilla caramel mousse, All MMF, with some modeling chocolate accents.
I made this for my brother in laws birthday. The bun and the french fry container were both made out of vanilla- orange cake, and the burger patty was devils food. The french fries were sugar cookies. Covered in MMF

This cake was for a family friend, she was turning 4 years old and loves Tinkerbell and anything colorful and girly. The cake was 6" round, 9" hex and 12" petal. All covered in MMF, the tinkerbell figurines were purchased.
This is my take on an amazing cake I saw here on CC, done by 'Cakesby Allison'. I loved her version when saw it, and it went right into my favs. My soon to be daughter in law saw the cake and asked me if I could make it for her and my sons wedding. This is what I came up with. Vanilla cake for two of the layers, chocolate for one and red velvet for the other one. All MMF covering and accents, beads dusted in pearl dust.
This is my first attempt doing a pillow cake, its not perfect , but I learned alot, so it was a definite win.
This a cake I made for a bake sale. The cauldron was devils food cake with chocolate ganache and fresh raspberries. The witch was mostly RKT, with some internal support. I got the idea for the caludron design from someone here on CC. I don't remember who it was, but thank you!!
Four tier, off set square wedding cake. Top and bottom tiers were a simple white cake with strawberry filling. The two middle tiers were carrot cake with a basic cream cheese filling, Covered and accented with MMF.
Gwen, my grand daughter, and I made this cake together. It was so much fun! So, the cake is done, and she is still in the kitchen playing with the left over fondant and singing to herself!!! How cute is that? The cake is a carrot cake with cream chesse icing , covered in MMF.
This was for my daughters baby shower. This was my first time using wedges to give the topsy turvy look. Flavors are chocolate cake with cookies n cream filling, red velvet cake with cream cheese fillng and a yellow cake with chocolate ganache and fresh strawberries. (The bottom tier is a dummy cake.) I made this cake for a friend that was moving out of state. The bottom cake was chocolate / vanilla with chocolate buttercream. The top cake was "funfetti" with raspberry filling. The lid to the top suitcase is RKT ( I was a little sad that the lid sagged in the middle). All covered in MMF, accents are MMF too.
I just did my first wedding cake. The theme was animal prints. Chocolate/ vanilla zebra striped cake, with raspberry filling. Covered in MMF, wrapped with animal print ribbons and accented with fresh flowers.

Star ship is RKT with a strand of LED`lights around the nose. The Lego blocks and the round piece that the Star ship is sitting on are all yellow cake, with a cookies -n- cream buttercream
I`made this for a friend who loves pigs. Its a chocolate cake with cookies-n-cream buttercream. Accents MMF and gum paste. And yes that is a ham sandwich... wrong I know!! TFL
So not quite Black and White, more like dark brown and white and red with some gold... I have been wanting to practice my roses, and wanted to try a few ideas that I have seen here on CC ( thank you all for the inspiration!) The cake itself was a chocolate and yellow cake, I was trying to acheive a 'tiger stripe' effect, it didn't quite turn out that way. Any suggestions on 'how to' would be greatly appreciated. Filling is a cheesecake filling covered in vanilla MMF. Accents are modeling chocolate and gum paste with some Dragees thrown in. TFL.
The cake was for my nieces and nephew. Their birthdays fall within a couple of days of each other, so we did one big party. All white cake, each tier had a different filling, chocolate, strawbery and vanilla. Covered in MMF and accents too. First time spraying a cake, kinda scary.
Chocolate cake with alternating layers of chocolate ganache with a peanut butter buttercream, and chocolate mousse fillings. Bottome tier is a dummy cake, I didn't have any styrofoam, so I used one of my cake pans and turned it upside down.

My first piano cake.
I had to try out a new recipe, and I hadn't made a cake in over a week and I was starting to go through withdraws :). The recipe made more than I expected, so I made an extra cake. I made one 8" and one 6". Cream cheese pound cake, with french vanilla mousse and fresh raspberries. Covered and accented with MMF, and silver dragees.
This was for my nieces' birthday. Chocolate cake, chocolate mousse and chocolate buttercream, covered in MMF. The fondant on the top layer stretched and puckered a little.... GRRR.. but overall I am really happy at the way it turned out
