I found an orange flavored cake recipe that I wanted to try. The top tier is a Orange Dreamcicle cake with vanilla buttercream. The bottom tier is a Red Velvet cake, also with vanilla buttercream. All fondant decoration, except for the 'spikey' and 'twisty' things on the top, those were made out of gumpaste.
The bride wanted something very different, in color and design. The cake was red velvet and WASC, all fondant. The cupcakes were the same flavors, I also made a third flavor, vanilla with raspberry filling. ( The cake bites were made by the brides family).
