30Th Anniversary Cake
This was the finished product - before the disaster. My first time making white choc ganache. It didn't set right. When I delivered it, the bottom tier layers slid apart! I was devastated!! Luckily, it was being delivered to my sister for a party she was having and she loved it anyway. I took the top two tiers off, scrapped frosting from the ruined bottom tier to make the "new" bottom tier look finished and was able to do a pretty good save. I actually made it bigger than she really needed, so the smaller version didn't look out of place. TFL

Back To College
My daughter asked me to make a cake for her roommates and her to celebrate moving into their new apartment at University of Kentucky. Bottom tier is a white cake with chocolate filling and the top tier is dark chocolate with buttercream filling. MMF on bottom tier with MMF accents. All Buttercream on top tier. TFL

Practice Cake
I made this cake because I wanted to try using MMF. It is wonderful. It is the easiest fondant I have ever used and the taste was great. The cake is four layers. Dark Choc Ganache between the bottom and top layers and orange filling in the middle. The orange filling did not taste right - it had a subtle metallic taste - I'll have to try something else next time. I'm still having trouble with my flowers - sometimes they seem to "melt" into themselves. Any "tricks or tips" would be appreciated. TFL.
