Three tiered, top hexagon, middle petal and round base - all covered in fondant and decorated with royal icing piping, pearl degrees, fondant butterflies and fake flowers. The cake was airbrushed with pearl sheen to add that little extra shimmer ; ) Royal icing plaques for Double Happiness symbol and C&B airbrushed gold.

Had a good time making this one! Baby Cookie Monster is fondant/gumpaste - each piece done seperately then put him together with candy - sort of 3D, but not :S Mostly buttercream with fondant accents and mini cookies (of course!) TFL!
My first purse cake, and what a purse! Tried to do the best I could for the material (sort of puffed out, quilted look) and I'm very happy with the resuts. Fondant with tylose powder chains painted with airbrush gold sheen a few times; hand piped JC logo; all the rest chocolate fondant. Double chocolate chip cake with chocolate buttercream filling and covering, covered with chocolate fondant. Chocolate Lover's dream ; )
Customer has monthly Bunco nights, this weekend's party was a birthday theme therefore she ordered a cake. ; ) TFL
Popular cake for me. Was a little disappointed with the edible image - it's pretty small, even after telling the bakery "make it the same size as the print out please". Grrrr. Oh well, just gives me more motivation to save up some $$ to buy my own edible ink printer. Buttercream covered rainbow cake with fondant dots, hearts and #6. Justin edible image is on a fondant/gumpaste background as well.
8x10" suitcase cutting cake with 72 cupcakes with travel icons on them (made from fondant and drawn on with edible marker). Edible images for travel stickers. All vanilla buttercream with suitcase covered in Satin Ice fondant.

Customer wanted a cake that had Dora and lady bugs on it. This is what I came up with - from a similar cake here on CC. Carved from a 10" round, all buttercream; Dora and butterfly FBCT and gumpaste little flowers. TFL
5 x 6" round carrot cakes cut to stand; covered in fondant and FBCT label. Ended up using the inside of a 22lbs fondant container to do the FBCT...turned out pretty good! TFL
I was asked by an Auntie to do a multiple birthday and Father's Day cake for her immediate family (her hubby works overseas, so they celebrate everything when he's back). I was trying to figure out how to do so many on one; the balloons seemed to work. Not impressed with how dark my purple became though...oops. 24 cupcakes.

For a wedding shower since the couple got engaged at the Garden of Versailles in France. I'm doing their wedding cake as well which will be cupcakes and a suitcase ; ) All buttercream and hand drawn with a pulled sugar fountain.

Made Apps that actually appear on the iPod Touch, then some faux ones from what the birthday boy enjoys (fishing, Hotwheels and dirtbiking). Turned out pretty cute! Hand painted Apps on fondant plaques. Covered in fondant. TFL!
