Stanley Cup Cake
I did quite enjoy working on this very tall cake, it measured around 40 inches in length and it had to be transported in 2 pieces, made out of chocolate cake and some styrofoam, the bottom largest rounds are 12 inches with the bowl at the top being around 8 inches. The board that the cake was on had to be word so that it would be sturdy enough, covered in fondant, airbrushed black and then a silver luster on top to make it look shinny and to give it some depth. It took around 8 hours to complete

Sock Monkey Cake By The London Baker
www.thelondonbaker.com, created by Elizabeth Rowe at The London Baker. You may have seen this cake around on Google images or others based off of mine I'm so glad that it could inspire others to get there sock monkey groove on, Ive had it on my website for a good long time now and i forgot that I never posted it, so here it is. All of the tiers are triples(6 inches high) except the hat. all are covered in fondant (satin Ice). I extruded the fondant to get the pom pom ball look, and used a knitted impression mat for he texture on the sock monkey, sock and hat. All of the details are all made out of fondant even except the knitting needles, i used gumpaste for those. The whole thing took around 7 hours to complete, the wood grain effect is hand done with tools to mark in streaks and grooves into the fondant, and then a colour wash is done over the top. Thank you for looking,

Harry Potters Monster Book, Sorting Hat And Dobby Cake
Hello, I enjoyed creating this cake, since i got to go a little more crazy and have free range on the school books and i got to make dobby aswell, which was alot of fun! Please give credit where credit is dew if anyone wants to use my cake for ideas or inspiration please do, I enjoy the thought that my cake inspired some one to create some hing fun, but please be nice when posting on here and mention where you got the idea from. Thank you! All of the potions books were 1/4 sheets, each a different flavour, and carved and covered in fondant with airbrush detail. as you can imagine the monster book of monsters took the longest at 3 hours roughly, whist the others only took about an hour and a half. the sorting hat was about 9 inches tall, covered in brown fondant and air brshed for a more worn effect. Now my Little Dobby, the customer got a nice surprise since they thought that dobby was only going to be a few inches high sitting on one of the books, but instead i made him alot bigger and went for about 10 inches whilst in the sitting down position, there was no way i was going to have him standing up on those spindly little legs, it also wasn't i there budget any way he was made using a small oval of styrofoam for his head which i covered in fondant and then added fondant facial features, and the same for the body, this way his structures was light and easy to support. I hope this helps and makes you want to get out your cake pans and drink some butterbeer! Enjoy!

Dragons Perch By The London Baker
www.thelondonbaker.com, created by Elizabeth Rowe at The London Baker. Sculpted cake for the 2012 Austin cake show this past weekend, entered into the show cake category and i was very pleased that it took 1st. this cake was one of the largest that i have done and was a great challenge and very rewarding. It was about 40 inches high and 50 inches long, this dragon was made mostly out of cake ( just box mix) with minimal use of styrofoam for the underside of the support structure about an inch to and inch and a half in some areas and a small amount of rice crispy treats since I hate those things, around the bottom of the legs and a layer on top of the carverd cake thigh for extra stability and gurth. the dragon took around 140 hours from start to finish and i started 3 weeks prior to the competition, the whole cake took around 200 hours, which was pretty tough since i work full time, very little sleep was required to get it done and im so glad for extra strength energy drinks lol. The dragon was covered using fondant and then airbrushed for detail and colour. I will be posting a link on my website to the video of the cake as it had some motors in it with a few moving parts.

Despicable Me Birthday Cake
I was pretty excited when I was told that we would be making a Despicable Me cake and that Gru would be the main character with one of his minions next to him, all the characters are cake, there is no rice cereal in this cake or styrofoam! lol. Gru was about 12 inches tall and nearly just as wide and he was carved out of cookies and cream cake with an Oreo cream filling. I used two 9inches, two 12 inches, two 14 inches, and then covered in fondant, the minion was made out of three chocolate 6" rounds. I hope you guys enjoyed this picture.

1920's Flapper Theme
This is one of three wedding cake models that I made for a bridal show, the bottom tier you can image took a very long time, 3 and a half hours to be exact just on that one tier. The whole cake is all fondant from from fringe to flower, the only thing not edible is the feathers. I designed this cake based on a 1920's flapper theme. I thought it came out pretty well from what i had imagined.

3D Sculpted Harley Davidson By The London Baker
www.thelondonbaker.com, created by Elizabeth Rowe at The London Baker. This is my very first 3d sculpted motorcycle cake, it has a custom made support system out of wood. the Bike itself from gas tank down is cake , vanilla cake about 3 full sheet worth, and then the front wheel is Styrofoam, the bike has multiple layers of fondant on it for shape and detail work, the realistic paint work is airbrushed on and then pine stripped with food colour. the whole thing was about 80lbs plus and was nearly 30 inches in length, and took close to 25 hours to create from start to finish. hope you enjoy it and if you want to see how i did it click on the link below for a video...
