12x18 sheet topped with a 9x7 sheet. Both fileed with BC and Strawberry filling. Covered in Bc and MMF. Marlboro packet is a small chocolate cake covered in fondant. All other accents MMF. This was my first bag cake of any kind, was just given the remit of shopping bag with cigarette packet and handbag stuff. Really enjoyed it and happy with (most) of it.

Florists Bouquet

Double layer carver sponge filled with BC and covered in fondant. Roses, leaves and Iris all fondant. Covered in florists wrap and bow threaded underneath fondant draping from cake. Did this using quick method roll up roses - saved a lot of time and still looked fine.

Toy Box

12 inch squre chocolate cake, buttercream and fondant covered. Toy Box is 6x6x6 chocolate cake with fondant sides. Sides have royal icing run out pictures of fireman sam, Buzz Lightyear, Fairy and a boat. Soldier, Bear and Kite are all fondant. Cake was for a joint party for 3 friends turning 3 and they all had favourite toys. I tried to design the cake so that each childs name was in front of their boxside when straight on (I hope you know what I mean!).

4 layer victoria sponge filled with strawberry and buttercream. Covered in buttercrem with fondant accents. This design was inspired by Danifanis excellent batman cake. Name typestyle was designed to look like a comic book style.` Lots of fun and my godson loved it.

First attempt at a car - not as bad as I feared, but not as good as I hoped!! 4 layer Devils food filled and covered in chocolate buttercream, covered in fondant with biscuit wheels and royal iced accents. The car is on a thin cake board supported by blocks underneath.

Really fun to do and I am so pleased how it turned out. Cake design was chosen by 'client' from "Cake Decorating" by Jane Price.

Devils food cake with chocolate orange buttercream, raspberry filling and fondant figures/accesories. This was for my sons 2nd birthday and his new favourite thing is the backyardigans. This cake was based on his favourite episode (of which all the songs are lodged in my head!!). The cake was stacked and carved down on a gradient and roughly covered to look like a red dusty landscape. The horse was standing but hefty tyrone made its legs buckle so we just improvised. Good fun to do!

Devils chocolate cake covered in white chocolate ganache. Bus made with fondant and painted. This was for my 4 year olds christening. HE was baptized with his 2 year old brother and we had a large party so I wanted the cakes to act as desserts rather than big centre pieces-hence the very simple design! The cake board was covered with cake balls, but they went very quickley before I got a photo.

Covered in worlds biggest lump of MMF! Had bit trouble getting it on to begin with but had a eureka moment and it was fine. Victoria sponge with strawberry and buttercream filling, MMF and fondant booties. Had horrible time with booties as kept cracking and picking up lots of flecks of dust, but reasonably happy in the end.
