This went with my cafe latte cupcakes! The cake is mocha with raspberry flavored frosting. This cake is fully covered in fondant and painted with luster dust! Thanks to czyadgrl for inspiration and help on this one! i don't think mine came out as good as hers. But, it sure is different! I like it! The owner of the coffee shop LOVED it! Thanks for looking!

Cafe Latte Cupcakes
Thanks to ckiecrumb for the inspiration and help on these cupcakes! i did them a little different than hers. The cupcakes were mocha and raspberry white cake with vanilla, almond buttercream. I dusted cinnamon and cocoa on the top and use white chocolate for the handles and dark chocolate for the steam! The mocha cupcakes were to DIE for! This was for a opening of a photo gallery in a local coffee shop! I made a Extra Large Mug for the owners to go with it!

This is my first cake for Wilton Course 3! It was 2 layers french vanilla with vanilla almond buttercream underneath all that fondant! I gave it to the local pub/restaurant me and my husband frequent to and the just loved it! I bring them stuff all the time but, they went mad over this cake! I think it tasted good? I didn't get a piece. It looked nice though!

Monkey For Samarah
Thanks to Sweet Designs Cakery for letting me use their design! It is such a wonderful cake! This cake is a 2 layer chocolate with traditional buttercream. The mom wanted "sweet"! All decorations are done with buttercream! Thanks for looking! I just loved making this cake! I can see little mess ups here and there and the monkey is a little lopsided on the left but, I think that gives him character! LOL Thanks again to Sweet Designs Cakery!

Artist Palette
This is a cake I made for an art teacher who is retiring. I love the saying! Apparently the woman it is for says this when she goes to her 2nd home! How funny! and her favorite color is purple! This cake is german chocolate with cream cheese frosting! Great recipe here on CC! The tube of paint and brush are made from MMF. And I have to give the credit to my husband for modeling these! I don't know how he did it!! He is amazing! Thanks for looking!

Golf Ball For Father's Day
This was for my Daddy!! This cake combo is his favorite, devil's food with mint cream filling. Outside was done in marsh mallow fondant. The board was made to look like a green. You can't see it but, underneath in the back I had constructed a whole to make it look like the ball was rolling into it! Didn't get that great of a photo! :( He loved it!!

Bonfire Father's Day Cake
I have to tell a secret!!! shhh..I didn't bake the cake...I just decorated it! LOL We have the only bakery in town that does the most wonderful strawberry danish torte. I could never have done it with how busy I was! And that is my Grampa's favorite cake from a bakery. Combined cake for him and my step-dad. They both LOVE to make bonfires. I just did some bag striping for the flames and airbrushed the cake and yes, the logs are pretzels! So easy and fun! They loved it!

Elise's Graduation Cake
This cake survived a 5 hour, 90 degree, high humidity trip to Indiana. Of course there was a little damage control after I got there. (I had my first aid kit along!) This cake was chocolate for the bottom layer and vanilla with vanilla pudding for the top covered in Vanilla crusting bc. This was a cute cake and everyone loved it! Thanks to mypastrychef for the inspiration and info!!

Green And Gold Graduation
This is a very large cake that I did for a friend of mine, it was her daughter's college graduation. The cake is marble with vanilla, almond crusting bc. The grad cap and diploma are with gumpaste.( sooo many problems in the humidity today) and the diploma is printed on wafer paper. The tassel is made from dmc threads put together.Thank you "cjf" for the inspiration!! Thanks to my Mom for the last minuet help!!!

Enchanted Tree Stump
OMG! Me and my mother made this cake for my grampa's 65th birthday. This was one of our most challenging cakes taken from the Enchanted Cakes for Children book by Debbie Brown. Me and my mom have never worked with gumpaste which made the critters sort of hard for us to do. The outside of the cake is chocolate MMF. I have never made it before! The cake is raspberry pound cake with cream cheese fillings and it's 5 layers. Thank you amberhoney for the inspiration and help! Enjoy! We love it!!

College Grad
Ok! It's finished. I was getting a little worried about the tassel on this one. I still don't quite like it! This is a confetti cake (grad wanted) with crusting buttercream. The cap is done in gumpaste and the diploma has a gumpaste sheet behind a wafer paper that I printed on(not edible ink so sorry) This was an easy one except for the tassel. I really hope my friend likes it and it's enough cake!! LOL Thank you for looking!

Zune Mp3 Player
This is a cake that I made for my brother. The Zune is basically an ipod but from Microsoft. The cake is Devil's food with mint filling and Chocolate Crusting BC for the outside and all fondant accents. The ACDC is airbrushed and writing is with edible food writers. Thanks for looking!!

Dartboard
Wow! This one was ambitious! and it was my own design! LOL I made this for a family friend who is soo into darts! It was his 50th bday and the bullseye is 50 points so I made it say "Happy Bullseye Jeff!" So cheesy.. I know. This was a butter flavor cake with chocolate buttercream. I used the roller method for the icing and I impressed and painted the whole design. Took lots of blood, sweat, and tears this one! Literally! I love it now though!

Sympathy Cupcake Bouquet
This is my 1st cupcake bouquet!!! I did butter and devil's food cake mix topped with Crusting BC. These cupcakes tasted amazing. It was for Professor who's Mother just pasted a couple weeks before, then she left. The whole class gave her this and a gift card to Olive Garden. She loved it! (Thank you SherriSenger for the inspiration!)

Moonlit Garden
This is a promotional cake that I did for myself to put down in a local cafe that features art in their place as well. There theme was anything green for st patrick's day on their opening night and the owner let me bring in any cake I wanted to make. This is MY cake...what I would create if someone gave me the freedom. It is a dummy cake, airbrushed, highlighted with luster dust.

Blue, Yellow 25Th Birthday
This is a cake I made for my husband. I wanted to make it more grand but it is suppose to look like a San Diego Chargers cake! I didn't get that creative but used the colors. He loved it anyway. It is Butter flavored cake with BC frosting. And the little yellow dots are stars.

Blue Guitar Birthday Cake
Boy was this harder than me and my mom thought!! This is not a great picture but the neck is styrofoam wrapped in fondant. We had to wrap with white and then straight paint on Wilton food coloring to get the effect we wanted. The cake is just chocolate covered in fondant and airbrushed. We were a little rushed so this did not come out exactly the way we planned! We sure did have fun though.

Cactus Cake
I did it! I have been looking at everyone's photos of their replications of Collete Peter's Cactus cake and I DID IT TOO! My mom loves plants (especially cacti) and she just adored this cake! It really was fun making it! I did use the spagetti instead of piping the royal icing but, we liked the look. There is cake under the crumbs and I used fondant for the snake, grass and leaves. Everyone thought this was real! sorry for the bad pic.

Chocolate Buttercream W/ Ganache And Hearts
This is the first time I have made chocolat bc frosting AND ganache. The recipe was on this site and the idea came from LacieLou76. She had done roses but I was in a time crunch. I didn't let my ganache settle enough and I don't think my brother cared! This was an excellent recipe! I think it is the best cake I have made so far!
