this was an 8" cake made for my grandfather who is an AVID fisherman. He likes to fish on rivers and so I tried to make a little bit of scenery on the cake for him. I'm not very good at making people so I just simulated that he was there with the fishing pole and bucket. I even decided to try some hand painting on the bc with food coloring and it worked! was a fun cake to do and he loved it! TFL :)

these were french vanilla cupcakes dyed fushia, made with fondant fans for my friends Asian themed wedding. LOVE the colors! If you can't tell the fan is Navy Blue and her other color is fushia. TFL :)
My friend is called "Money Mike" at our local Karaoke bar so this was the likely choice to make a cake for him. My first time using an edible image! The microphone is fondant and the extra money and dollar signs are paper/plastic. TFL

This is a cartoon character named Gir. It's some new cartoon and the character is actually a robot in a green dog costume, hence why you can see the zipper and stitches. There was a wonderful tutorial online from The Artisan Cake Company that was a big help; I didn't do it exactly like there's but their pictures and tips helped a lot! TFL :)
A lot of inspiration from the web and CC....'70' is gumpaste painted with luster dust, mini wine bottles are fondant/gumpaste all hand molded as well as the blue ribbon. grapes are piped buttercream and I just LOVE the look of this cake! TFL :)

Found this idea from the-crafty-penguin.com. Decided to make them with sugar cookies and use fondant for the ties and hair bows. They are too cute!
