Gravestone 40Th Birthday
This is an 11x17 inch cake with a little bit of cake added to the top to make it more of a shape. The RIP was hand cutout from fondant, writing done with royal icing (my new favorite thing to do), the rose was make from fondant with 7 layers of petals, and then the grass and cookies are self explanatory ;) TFL!

Minnie Hat 1St Birthday
This cake was for a 1st birthday and it was not as easy as it looks. Customer found a picture on flickr and I think it was plastic :p half ball pan covered in ganache and fondant for a smash cake...the bottom was a 10" 1 layer covered in BC and fondant circles. The hat did NOT come out like the picture because I think the reference pic was plastic. The mom loved it anyway! TFL

Air Force Uniform
Chocolate cake covered in fondant with all fondant and gumpaste accents. The ribbons/medals were hand drawn with edible markers and the name tag and silver buttons and US pins were covered with edible silver luster dust. This is my first military cake and I'm pretty proud of it! TFL and thanks for all the inspiration to those that make the Army uniforms on CC.

4Th Of July Fruit Starburst Brownie
Based off of a recipe from Betty Crocker's Triple Berry Brownie...tried to make it look like the picture at first and then kinda did my own thing. The underneath is a very thick brownie...thicker than they called for. Then there is a cream cheese mixture under the berries. This was so much fun to make! TFL :D

Sushi Cupcakes
My mom loves sushi and I love to make cakes that look like food. This was for her birthday. I frosted the cupcakes without the liners and then I rolled them in green sprinkles and coconut. The centers are fondant just made to look like crab meat or whatever. The wasabi and the ginger were also fondant. The little bowl was made of fondant and then I diluted some food coloring in the center. These were a BIG hit! TFL! :D
