Camp Counselor's Birthday Cake
Half chocolate, half vanilla, with vanilla icing. Fondant whistle, clip on board, and silver parts of camera. The counselors come here for a month and this counselor's mother ordered this over the phone for her daughter and requested a camp theme, including a whistle and clipboard.

Passover Anniversary Cake
This is a flourless chocolate cake. I made it in a jelly roll pan and cut it to make this 6" x 9" size, per the customer's request. It needs to fit in a camper freezer until the Anniversary day. It is filled with chocolate chip whipped cream and iced with stabilized whipped cream.

Passover Prep Cookies
I did these for the "March Madness" cookie theme. For many Jewish women Passover preparations are what drives us to the brink of madness in March. These are a bag of groceries (Passover foods are expensive!) and a Bedikas Chometz set. The night before Passover starts we hunt by candlelight for any chometz (leavened items) and use a feather to sweep it onto the spoon so we don't drop it. We burn it the next morning.

Lowfat Passover Anniversary Cake
This cake was a special request for a woman (from her husband) who cannot digest fat properly. Her favorite flavors are chocolate and raspberry. The cake is made with potato starch and ground nuts, and the icing is made from powdered sugar and cocoa, with some raspberrry jam for the swirl on top.

Mini Anniversary Cake
This is my first mini and first wedding style cake. I made this as a gift for some friends who are celebrating their 10th anniversary. They never do anything special for themselves although they do a lot for others! I copied the design from a cake site, but I don't remember which one.

Purim Birthday Cake
This cake was made for a Purim themed birthday party. Purim is a Jewish holiday celebrating the victory of Queen Esther and the Jewish people over Haman's evil decree to kill them. The colors and some symbols are similar to Mardi Gras. The Birthday message is on a Megillah scroll, which normally holds the scroll of the book of Esther. This was also my first tiered cake (6", 8"). I borrowed many elements from others at CC. Thank you Antonia74, LacieLou76, and mommabear for your inspiration!

Trailer Birthday Cake
This cake was bought by the baby brother (55) for a joint birthday for his 60 year old brother and 70 year old sister, thus the 130 years comment. The family used to travel and camp in a trailer over the summers. This was copied from an old photo. He plans on adding photos of their faces as children in the windows. My daughter Chani did the shell border and a couple of bushes for me.
