This is similar to one I have done before, but a friend loved it, and so her husband has ordered it as a surprise for her birthday tomorrow. I decided though to change the colours a bit. Flowers are artificial, and little swarovski crystals on front of cake.
This is my first ever cushion cake, and first ever gumpaste ballet slippers. I really enjoyed doing this cake, and am very happy with the final result!
This cake was inspired by the beautiful one done by Nunuk which I have gazed at for months... Thanks also to Nunuk for being so helpful responding to a pm months ago also. The cake did not turn out how I would have liked and I feel I got a bit carried away sticking shells on! Saying that, the girl who it was for.. loved it! Thankfully!!!
This is my first ever soccer ball cake. I could never have done it without the help of Rania, who I think is the queen of these cakes.... She was so lovely and generous with her constant help, and hints!!! I really need to practice with making people... this was a first too... his arms are a little wonky.. I also had to paint the black on at the end because I wasn't happy with the colour of the fondant... my black food colour made it look very dark grey, once scarf was painted, I had to do the ball too

Sample cakes for wedding tables... I have to re-make them smaller though!!! The lady has chosen the one surrounded by the white flowers... all will be the same. Bride & Groom will have this size on their table!
Chocolate mudcake. Filled with chocolate BC.Covered in fondant. Some parts dusted with lustre dust. I know she needs to go on a diet... I know I should have carved her slimmer... Just as well you can't see her bum!!! Overall though, I am happy with her!!!
