I made 6 of these. (dummies) They are to go in the window of a Wedding Planner's shop front. I now have to make a large wedding cake to match them! All white chocolate fondant.... butterflies are gumpaste. I id also upload a single close up of my favourite... but the powers that be deleted it. If you would like to see these individually close up, you can visit my website www.torteditoni.com

Fisico Shopping Bag
For a shop inauguration tonight. Shop is FISICO. They sell gorgeous swimming costumes.... Anyway.. they wanted the cake the same size as the shopping bag... so 41cm long.. and 30cm high. All dark chocolate mudcake, layered with ganache/buttercream. (many layers!!) It is quite an important event..designer will be at the dinner... and the lady managing her shop ordered the cake... the designer Cristina Ferrara, doesn't know the cake will be there.

Spring Inspired Gift Box
This is for a 50th surprise birthday party. Cake organised as a gift from the birthday lady's friend. I bought the little posy of flowers for the top of the box... instead of doing a bow.... Writing that before you all think I am a master at gumpaste flowers!!! LOL Lid is styrofoam. Cake is 2 x 10" dark chocolate mudcake... each cake is 3" high. Cake is 4 layers, and I made dark chocolate ganache & buttercream...... then mixed both together! YUM... and worked really well! I then added underneath the cake.. the same sized piece of styrofoam.. one to lift it from the board.. and 2, to give it more a box shape! Decorations all painted with lustre dusts.

Amy & Francesco Wedding March 21St
Wedding held in Riomaggiore, the first of the Cinque Terre in Liguria, Italy. The location was in the old castle of the town, and it was such a magical setting with amazing sea views. The toppers are French Bulldogs... copies of the couples pets.... and although I was a bit in doubt about putting them on top of the cake.... I really liked them once they were sitting there!

Butterflies & Flowers
This is my first cupcake tower!!! It was for the third birthday of my friend's daughter. The 'tiers' are polystyrene dummies, that I wrapped with ivory tulle, and held in position randomly with pearly tipped pins. Top cake is a white chocolate mudcake, and the cupcakes are dark chocolate.
