Jess' Cat
A cake for a friend's DD who wanted it to look like her cat but I wish I would have done a more plain face instead of trying to get realistic like as I think it looks crappy. Oh well, they're first graders! Used a football pan for body and small wonder mold pan for face and feet, carved up of course! TFL!

Esther's Snake Cake
Okay, so 3 days before Esther's wedding of which I'm doing the wedding cakes (for 400!) the groom decides to try and de-stress his bride with a surprise birthday party for her with the youth group (which they lead). She has a pet snake that he HATES so I came up with this birthday cake for the party. Another mom made cupcakes for the kids. Inspired by another CC member. Thanks!

Rachel's Grad Cake
A grad cake for MT's DD who is a cross country runner. The shoes are copies of her favorite running shoes. They are made out of floral foam (easy to carve - not so easy to cover with fondant!) and trimmed out in gum paste accents painted with gold luster dust. Double layer of WASC and Chocolate Fudge with raspberry filling and BC icing! TFL!

Ariel Cake
Did this cake for a girlfriend's DD who's turning four. Inspired by jaklotz1 - thanks! The face is chocolate candy melts piped into the pan and placed into the fridge until hard - they just pop right out! Same thing for the flowers. Shells are candy melts dusted with super pearl luster dust. This cake was FREE!!
