Angry Birds Cake

This cake was interactive. All decorations made of fondant. Castle made of Rice Cereal Treats covered in white chocolate and fondant. Top of castle would light up when the kids pushed a magic button at the back of castle. I made a (edible) handmade working slingshot with extra Birds, Stones, Lumber, etc., for them to set up and shoot down. It was sooo much fun. :)

This cake depicts two separate scenes of the movie, Nightmare Before Christmas. On one side, the dark, Halloween characters. On the other side, the wintry, Christmas scenes of the movie. All decorations are made of fondant (with the exception of the trees on the Halloween side --- those were made of wire with floral tape wrapped around the limbs/branches).
