*This cake was a donation so I could do anything I wanted. I wanted to do something bright and fun. I love the way it turned out!
This cake was for a sweet little girl in my class who was hit by a drunk driver last year and is paralyzed from the chest down. She is an amazing girl and I wanted this cake to be special for her.
I made this for my school's fall festival. Made from 7", 6", 6" rounds. Head is sports ball pan. Arms and legs are modeling chocolate. Hat and straw are gumpaste
Pink And Purple Ladybug Cake
Similar to another cake I made, but pink and purple for 5 year old twin girls.
Ole Miss Rebels graduation cake. Buttercream with MMF. Gumpaste Rebel cut with my cricut.
Run For The Roses
Handpainted mmf with buttercream roses. This was a last minute "emergency" cake that a friend's husband had me do for his friend. She was so mad at him for waiting until the last minute. He really wanted me to do a 3D replica of the Kentucky Derby with hand sculpted horses with jockeys running around the track, IN ONE NIGHT! I am a full time teacher, so that just wasn't going to work! He got this instead! TFL!
Buittercream with mmf details. I used edible markers to do the sign so it would look more like Elmo's writing. TFL!
I have always wanted to make this cake, and someone finally let me! Yay! Very happy with how it came out! Buttercream with mmf accents. Cap is mmf with gumpaste bill. I used my cricut to do the Memphis logo.
This one was made to match the baby's bedding. Those paisleys took forever! Buttercream with MMF accents and gumpaste carriage.
A surprise for my cousin's birthday party at the famous Rendezvous in Memphis. First attempt at the wedge style topsy-turvy. MMF with gumpaste bows and tissue paper. I was a nervous wreck traveling with this thing and then carrying it, but it made it!
I am so excited that I finally made a tiara! I used a template I found here on CC and cut it out with my cricut! The hardest part was getting it off the mat without breaking it! I broke it like 10 times, but glued it together with some RI and put a "pearl" over the breaks. I LOVE MY CRICUT!
I finally did a buttercream topsy-turvy successfully! I have tried before and it was a disaster! MMF dots and gumpaste bow and topper.
Little girl's first birthday theme was Winter "One"derland. Buttercream with gumpaste snowflackes and bows. Insprired by Jillmakescakes.
