My aunt needed a cake for a bridal shower and has been begging me to teach her how to do cakes. So, I told her I would help her make her own cake for the bridal shower. This is what we made. Fun times, but I think she got a new appreciation for making cakes!!!
This was for my grandfather's 85th birthday. It was suppose to look like his favorite dog from when he use to hunt all the time. I guess he really liked it because he wouldn't let us cut it! Pound cake/Yellow Cake mixed together. MMF and gumpaste ears.

This wasn't my fist wedding cake technically, but it was the first one I've done for a fancy reception at a real wedding reception facility. The others have just been at someone's house or really small churches out in the country. I was so nervous, but I think it all turned out well. The bride called me the next day to thank me and tell me how much she loved it!

I've been wanting to try this cake posted by ladyonzlake. I finally had an occasion for it. It was for one of my best friends birthday. She was having a really rough time around her birthday and I wanted to do something to make her feel better. Not as good as the original, but she loved it. Thank you ladyonzlake for the inspiration.
This was a last minute order that I had to throw together. It was the second time I used my airbrush machine, so that was fun. I wish the hummer looked a little better, but I had to freehand it because I did not have time for a FBCT and my chocolate transfer was not cooperating. Then I couldn't find the tip I wanted to write with, so that looks sloppy too.
I started making this cake for my brother and I got really tired and ran out of time before I finished, so I just kinda threw it together. I got to use my new airbrush machine for the first time. It was so fun! My brother does car bodywork, so he helped me learn how to airbrush and said he would hire me at his shop! Wish I would have taken more time, but it was ok.
The customer saw this cake make by lambshack and wanted the same one. She liked that it didn't show any skin, so it didn't look at revealing. Thanks lambshack!
