We were asked to create a cake for the "I Do" wedding event that took place a few weeks ago. It was a mock wedding were 100 brides to be came and attended the event and watched a fake couple get married and have a reception. We were the only cake vendor asked, so it was an honor! The spray and all the dangling jewelry were done out of swarovski crystals.
Did this one in a 12 in. covered in fond. the rocket ship is made from cake as the center and rice krispy treats for the front and back. Jimmy and his dog were done in gumpaste. TFL
Did this one over the weekend. It was a 6, 8, 10, and 12 in. sq. done in fondant with styro. seperators in 4, 6, and 8 in. I made the calla lillies out of gumpaste. The reception hall looked fantastic with pink glow sticks in white frosted vases and feathers coming out of the top. TFL
This one was almost exactly like the other hat box I did last season, but this one was in pink with a baby on the board. TFL.
This was what I came up with for a pooh themed baby shower. 10 in cake covered in fondant. All fond. accents except for pooh and his balloon which I made out of rice krispy treats and covered in fondant. TFL
I covered these in fondant with fondant handles, royal icing for the cocoa and mini fondant marshmellows to finish it off. TFL!
This one is just like a cake I did in shades of green for a bride not long ago. This one seemed a bit more magical. In person it was nice and sparkly and the jewel picks that I put in the cake are not very noticeable in this shot, but I was pleased in the end, TFL!

I did this one covered in fondant with fondant fencing. The flowers I did in gumpaste and fondant and the intention was to have that dried flowers look, not my fav., but it turned out ok, TFL!
I did these mini cakes for a little halloween party we threw for my kids and a few close friends for after trick or treating. The cakes were done in the mini half round ball pan and then covered in fondant. TFL!

This one was done in ivory fondant with chocolate scrolls done in royal icing. Live florals on the top of the cake. Seperators were styrofoam that I covered in choc. fondant. TFL
I really enjoyed doing this cake. I wasn't sure if it was going to turn out the way I wanted it to, but by the end, I was pleased with how it came together. Did the bottom tier with royal icing design and made the callas and filler flowers out of gumpaste. TFL
I had to do 50 of these little minis for a wedding cake, so that meant 50 mini orchids :( Not including the orchid spray I had to make for the top tier. TFL I am tired now :)
Uggg. If I never have to look at another moth orchid again I will be so greatful :) I had to make 50 minis covered in fond. which isn't bad with a 6 and 8 in top tier cake. The flowers are what finished me off :) TFL
This one was done in fondant. The scrolls were done in fondant with disco dust all over them. I did the spray coming out the topper with fondant and painted them also with the disco dust. The ball on top came predone in the glitter so we matched the cake up to that. The entire cake was covered in lots and lots of truffles. TFL
