fondant dog and accents; dog done using aine2's dog tutorial
All buttercream
Tried new recipes I found on here. Cakes is covered in Chocolate Syrup Frosting and layers are filled with Chocolate Mousse Cream Filling. Cake is the recipe on the back on the Hershey's Cocoa can. Hope it tastes okay. I know the strawberries are good!
Thanks to Jayde for the black fondant for all the inspirational purse/shoe cakes here.
9" and 6" tiers. Buttercream with fondant accents. Used my cricut to cut out the numbers. Nice time-saver (if I get the hang of it!)
This is a 5" mini cake. Playing with my cricut for ivory side designs; made of modelling chocolate...still need much practice! Gumpaste roses.
Double layer 12 x 9 slightly carved. Fondant accessories and accents with chocolate baby bottle.
Slightly carved 11 x 15 all buttercream. Inspired by an invitation.
Traditional Pink Buttercream Roses Cake
My first gumpaste rose done by using tonedna's rose tutorial on youtube. Thanks Edna!
16", 12", 9", and 6" buttercream with fondant accents. Made the calla lilies thanks to tutorial by tonedna; other sugar flowers bought from Phiel and Holing.
10" square cake slightly carved.
8" cake
Buttercream iced cake with gumpaste box top. 8" square on 13 x 9 sheet.
This is a 12" round on bottom with a 8" square on top. The hat is styrofoam covered in fondant. Box tops also styrofoam covered in fondant. I should have given myself more time to do this cake but pleased overall.
I added ivory color to the poured fondant. Snowflakes done using a candy mold using white candy melts then dusting with pearl dust.
This is a slightly carved 11 x 15 iced in buttercream. The animals were made from fondant and painted on with foodwriter pens.
I was given a photo of Shelley's cake as inspiration. This was a fun cake to do. 10" and 6" with carved cake for hat.
All buttercream. Thanks for looking.
