Tanya's
Each tier is a choc. and vanilla layer w/chocolate creme filling per request of the groom. 12", 10", & 8", Pastry Pride icing. I'm not real crazy with how it turned out and the ribbon decided to "bumb" so I must not have placed it on very well. A 3 hour ride to the venue and I was a nervous wreck with my friend driving-it was her niece's wedding!

Niece's Graduation
From a 2 lb baby and all she has gone through to get this, she deserved this style of cake! I've bought the "Growing Up Dolls" for her each year and this year couldn't find the graduation doll but we used them all in the design. Pastry Pride icing, several flavors of cakes and fillings as well.

Another Birthday Down The
50th BD for a school janitor. Ideas taken from other cakes on here, and I thank you for those! Bottom is an 8" single layer, top is 6" round x 3" deep torted, edges rounded, cream cheese style filling between layers, iced with Pastry Pride. Paper roll is small 4" chocolate cake with a hole cut in it, iced in PP also. Wooden dowel has plastic wrapped around where it has been stuck in the cake. Everyone loved it, so much one of the teachers took it to her class to "show & tell"!

Valentine Brownie
Chocolate brownie iced with Bittersweet Chocolate icing -Thank You Lazy_Susan for the recipe! Scorll work in royal icing, the middle scrollwork is all one piece, which did not break!! Outer scrollwork are pieces from 2 other middle pieces that broke apart. I also used the triple reverse border I guess you call it that someone posted a photo of in the forum, thanks for the tip.

Fall Wedding
14" heart w/8" round, both tiers are choc. & van. layers, rasp. filling, Pastry Pride icing. Bride wanted top tier off set even with that size, but it had to hold the topper. It did give me some problems...I should have placed the flowers out to the right...next time!! (hee-hee) I did make the base for this cake, 18" round board with styrofoam 12" glued to the underside, then I stuck on a string of miniature lights to the styrofoam.

I flew in on Thrusday from WA to OK, the wedding was Friday morning so I baked and decorated from Friday afternoon and all night for the reception on Saturday. Daughter's 9Th Anniversary Cake
She wanted a Victorian style cake~ single layer 10 x 2 heart, French Vanilla cake, lemon filling from store bought sleeve, Pastry Pride icing, fondant swag, royal icing flowers & hearts. The swag broke when I was placing it on the cake which messed up the icing as it fell and then I put my finger in it trying to fix it. The two rose buds close to the first "r" in Anniversary is where the break is.

Suzie's Wedding Cake Dec. 11,04
This was my first "official" wedding cake for a relative of our son-in-law. The ivy was supposed to be smaller and on the practice cake the ivy was wrapped tighter around. But all in all it turned out quite nice. The bride was happy with it so that's all that mattered!

Tea For Two Please!
For my Mother & Mother-in-law ~ A 2 layer 7"-oval carrot cake/w cream cheese BC icing & filling. Marshmallow fondant tea set, including spoons, slice of cake, and cookies. MM Fondant table cloth using tip #106 to stamp in the detail. I also used tip #107 to stamp in the flower pattern on the tea set, and used Wilton color paste watered down to paint the flowers. I also used different tips to cut out the cookies and painted them.

Daughter's Anniversary Cake
This was a rushed cake for my daughter's anniversary. Chocolate cake, Wilton whipped icing and roses, but...I was in a hurry and used Royal icing for the leaves and mounds to put the roses on. Don't do that. If you look closely at the leaves you will see they are starting to run. By the time I got to her house, just about 1/2 of the top roses were sliding down the one side of the cake. When they say that any grease will liquify the royal icing, believe it! I just wasn't paying attention at the time.

"destroyer Cake"
A retired navy seaman's wife asked if I could make a destroyer cake...Everything was edible except the flag and candle! Didn't quite come out like a destroyer, but close enough and they loved it! I used the Rich's Bettercreme icing for all of the icing, and royal icing for the add ons.
