Disaster Cake...
They wanted a monster truck cake, okay. On the way delivering it the thing slid from the board I carry them on. I mad the mistake of grabbing the box, not the board. Luckily it was salvaged somewhat, they added crumbled Oreo cookies under the one corner truck to make it look like dirt. This truck was sitting on the left side, you can see indents and they added cookie crumbs there as well. The little boy liked it anyway, and I accepted no monies.

Tea Pot Pixies
One of Debbie Browns from her book, that my daughter bought for me as a gift, bless her heart! I changed a couple of things and colors and learned some things as I went along, of course the hard way! Yellow cake w/choc. mousse filling, covered in mmf. The handle and spout are mmf, as are the pixies w/RI hair. This was a fun cake to make, and it went to a local church auction!

Jennisa's April 21, 2007
Bride chose a cake from the Wilton Romantic Portfolio, downsizing from 18" to 16" bottom, 12", 10", top 6". White/white chocolate cakes w/raspberry filling, Pastry Pride icing, RI flowers. Rose leaves didn't feel right when I placed them on and the next morning they were dripping down the sides...OHHH! String work is not my thing I've decided, especially without a tilting turntable...yeah, that's it, I need one of those to do them!

Mitzi's St. Patrick's Day Wedding
I never really spoke to the bride on this one, all done through a friend who is a cousin of the bride. They wanted simple yet elegant, cream on cream, green filling, white roses and daffodils. This is what I come up with and they were extremely happy with it, and boy was I glad! Each layer is Golden vanilla flavored with white chocolate mousse style filling colored green. Sizes were 14", 12", 10" & 8".

Niece's Wedding
First, I will NOT be using the cake stand again for cakes, the wind made the top layer sway some...second, I won't be adding fondant anything to the whipped style of icing unless just before the event...they turned to gel and started sliding. Niece was happy with the cake, for those of you in the Portland, OR area it was Benson St Park, a mile from the Multnomah Falls, pretty, but cold yesterday! Pastry Pride icing, butter pecan w/caramel, choc. w/rasp., vanilla w/lemon.
