Airbrushed and everything else done in buttercream
These are obviously inspired by sugarshack's awesome cookies.......however I made these using vanilla wafers so they're really small so I had to adapt the design a little bit
Chocolate, vanilla, and pralines and cream cake truffles with chocolate crunch and coconut and milk chocolate coating oh and the square things in the front is some fudge. I made these for gifts for all the teachers at the school I work at!
1/2 sheet cake iced in buttercream and airbrushed with some little fondant accents. I was told to make something like the decopac showed to use the figures so I did that but the cake they made was a quarter sheet so I had a little extra room to fill up so I made the little sea plant thingies I know that doesnt' make sense with a hard wood floor LOL But the decopac photo had some seaweed on it so ................
Cake made for my pastor thanks so much to NEWTODECORATING for coming through for me just in the nick of time with this gorgeous pic. I really appreciate you doing that for me. I had some issues with this cake and was up until 5:30am working on it!!! I couldn't get the writing to fit so I had to scrape it off 3 times and when I went to reairbrush the blue it sputtered and speckled Jesus,Mary,and Joseph so I had to scrape them off the cake too!!! Oh well, it finally came together.....I guess
Strawberry cake covered in bc and mmf, my air compressor died when I tried to airbrush this cake so I had to just paint on the airbrush color with a paintbrush so it's a little streaky ....the wonderpets and the sail are just paper cut outs, I didn't have time to model the animals or anything but my Daughter didn't care she still loved it!
NFSC with mmf and royal accents, my DD requested these for her birthday for school to give to all her friends in preschool. She asked for a girl dalmation doggy with a princess crown and she drew me a pic. of the kind of crown she wanted and it had to be PINK! LOL So this is what she got, she loves them!!
carrot cake with bc and covered in MMF with handpainted squireel and trees and such. My mom asked me to make this cake for my brother, long story short he's had a lot of issues with squirrels getting into the sofits of his house and so forth and has been battling these buggers for a little while (even hiring professionals lol) so my mom thought it would be funny for me to make him a cake with a squirrel on it! Oh and I love a challenge, I'm also shipping it from Ohio to s. Carolina hopefully it makes it!
Thanks to thecakemaven for help figuring out what tips to use, I didn't get her message in time to take the advice but I winged it alright on my own. My DD preschool teacher NEVER put these CC's out for the class party, the party was for grandparents and my mom said she mentioned how she's pay $30 or more for a dozen of these for HER thanksgiving get together and how they were so adorable and they stayed put right on her desk .....hmmmmmm...I'm not making any accusations but I have a feeling......lol
Like stated in the photo of the half sheet cake (this is the full sheet cake) they were to be decorated the same in fall colors and had to incorporate seafoam green (their wedding color) into the cake somehow.
The request was for a full sheet and a half sheet cake decorated identically (which isn't that easy to do being that one is twice the size of the other as I found out) and for it to be fall colors with "flowers" and to incorporate seafoam green which was their wedding color!!! I tried my best.....I think these cakes are hideous!!! Hopefully they won't, oh and by the way this is the Half Sheet cake
A cassada (bavarian cream and strawberries for the filling) cake with Rich's Bettercreme icing. Made for a guy that LOVES his Harley.....in fact the toy is almost an exact replica of his...they didn't want a "decorated" cake just a plain cake with the bike on it......but I couldn't help myself so I added some flames around the sides lol...they didn't complain
Double fudge cake filled with milk chocolate, cappuccino buttercream, frosted with a thin layer of the bc and then covered in ganache with plain bc scrolls....... oh and just wanted to say I was inspired by one of Thanh Thanh's cakes that had some hearts around the edge........although I didn't do the scrolls the same way, just liked the idea of the hearts!

3 tiers, the bottom was a 4 inch and the other two top tiers were from a single pan....I think they were like 2 1/2" and 1 1/2" or so. covered in fondant with buttercream roses and edible pearls...made for a fundraiser for local christian radio station. It looked a lot neater in person. The pearls were to cover a seam in the fondant (it was the back of the cake) but I liked them so much I made it the front lol only downside is the fondant wasn't as smooth on the back
Yellow cake with buttercream and fondant accents, I really felt like something was missing on this cake but I couldn't figure out what else to put on it........it just looks really plain and bare by the corn stalks : (
chocolate cake with Sam's Club buttercream, piping gel (supposed to look like stained glass) and rice paper with edible marker for the right hand side. I made this for my pastor for Pastor appreciation week, thanks for looking.....oh and the ribbon is the only inedible thing.

Made for a 7 yr. old that wanted a John Deere cake, I gave him a choice between a farm with a toy or a 3-D John deere tractor cake.......he chose the farm : )

My 5 yr. old son decorated this he used the melvira method to smooth the icing......all I did was the shell border! He cut his own fondant flowers glued on the gold dragees and airbrushed the flowers with super pearl dust/vanilla!! He made this for his school's cake auction and someone bought it for 20 dollars!!!
I know you won't believe it but my 8 yr. old son made this cake with virtually NO help from me and I think he did an awesome job!!!! It was for a cake decorating contest/cake auction at his school and 5 min. before we left the house the cake exploded!!! The apples were too heavy......so they showed this photo of the cake and auctioned it off anyhow with an I.O.U. that he would make another for the winning bidder! He was thrilled it went for 20 bucks!
NFSC with MMF and painted with americolor gels....thanks so much to sweetviolent and kneadacookie for answering my questions about their leaves!! These were made for a bake sale item at my kids' school's harvest festival! I made 52!! ugh!
These are NFSC with MMF and white chocolate colored for the details. The lady wanted an idea for twin girls so this is what we came up with....thanks so much to yankeegal for the inspiration (kinda tweeked her design) hopefully the customer will like them. Thanks for looking. By the way the ribbon is pink and the pinstripes on the paper are green, white, and pink for some reason it all looks white : (
