gumpaste baby in mini bassinet cake, cake was made by cutting the sides off a 6" round cake making the center into a rectangle and then using one of the rounded edge pieces as the top hood part of the bassinet. All bc, with a fondant blanket over the top. TFL

I made this to be auctioned off at my kids' school for a harvest festival. It went for $49. It is a 4" , 6", (1 layer- 8" rounds iced in buttercream that I airbrushed with chocolate leaves and candy balls for berries. TFL The whole thing was sprayed with some gold dust for a shimmer effect.
Life size replica of my pastor's acoustic guitar, made for his 50th Birthday. The neck and sides of guitar are covered in fondant, the top of the body of the guitar is all airbrushed buttercream (for the wood grain effect) The strings are actual silver thread attached onto the body with silver thumbtacks (only inedible parts)...the strings are attached to fondant bolt thingies on the neck (not sure what they're really called, but I made them from fondant and painted them gold. TFL Oh....and my proudest part of the whole cake.......it took me 4 hrs. start to finish!!!! I started baking it at 10pm and finished decorating at 2am! A miracle considering I usually spend longer than that on most sheetcakes LOL
6", 9", 12" square cakes all buttercream w/ grosgrain ribbon bow. Cornelli lace on top tier, second tier has diagonal stripes piped with a #6 round tip, bottom tier has a scalloped edge with cornelli lace on top and drop strings and pearls coming down from scallops. TFL

This cake was so tall on the glass blocks I could hardly get it all in the shot. I edited out the background because there were tons of balloons and I didn't care for the overall look. TFL
