Doug & Nancy's 30Th Anniversary
...done for a couple celebrating their 30th wedding anniversary, as each of their birthdays! The edible image is from their original wedding picture of them cutting their cake. I had lots of fun doing this cake and really hope they enjoy it. It will be delivered this evening, and holds a special thought for me as today (9/22) is my 17th wedding anniversary!

Will & Tashena
I had a lot of trouble trying to picture this cake in my mind when I got the order. I wasn't sure how the different elements would work together. She wanted the 3 square tiers witht he round topper, and the different colors on the layers. The green and pink layers have horshoes hand drawn in white and the white layers have the same design drawn in pink and gree. I was surprised how much I liked the cake when it finally got put together at the reception hall.

Girly Stuff Cake
This was done for a friend's daughter. They were having a small sleepover for just a few girls with no specific theme. they requested a "girly themed" cake to set the mood for the evening. I happened across this graphic which bears a slight resemblance to the birthday girl, it was a big hit!!!

Ashley's Groom's Cake
This cake was done for a friend of my DH, as his groom's cake. He and his new bride will be enjoying a hunting trip to Colorado as their Honeymoon. Both are avid hunters and the bride and I came up with this theme. He had requested a deer be on his cake, but was thrilled to see his Jeep as well. The cake was triple chocolate fudge with milk chocolate buttercream filling. I HATE chocolate cake...but the combination was heavenly!

Lillie's Cake
This was a 3 tier (6/8/10") cake It was a golden vanilla with a hint of LorAn''s cheesecake flavoring. It had a pecan praline filling and vanilla buttercream, surrounded be PF French Vanilla Pirouette cookies. All of the flavors complicated each other very well to give this simple cake a decadent flavor.

Deer (Work In Progress)
This is a fondant deer I am working on for a groom's cake this weekend (if all goes well...it will be a 3D model of his jeep with a deer draped avross the hood!) The bride and groom are going on a hunting trip for their honeymoon, he has no idea what his cake will be. all he said was that he wanted a deer on it, the bride said "Run with It!!!" and this is the idea that she and I settled on. Still have lots of detail work left to go, will post another photo of the whole cake when it's finished.
