Cari's Birthday
This cake was done for my niece's 16th Birthday. She chose to celebrate with 2 friends and share a birthday party. Their is a "package" to each girl. The small cake is a 6" round, red velvet cake with cream cheese frosting, the packages are chocolate cake, and the base is a 16" round yellow cake. All cakes are covered in FONDX. The small white strip is a copy of what they made up as invitations for the party (they were in charge of all arrangements!)

Full Sheet/red Roses
This is a full sheet cake (18x24"), decorated with red roses (tip #125), and green leaves. I used a Wilton Oval pan to mark the center border, and a #10 tip for the writing. The cake was done for a retirement, and since it is so close to Christmas they wanted to use the Christmas colors without using that theme. Thanks for looking!

Texas Themed Cake
This 2 tier cake is french vanilla flavored with simple buttercream, covered in "Satin Ice" fondant. The tops are rounded and the fondant is airbrushed. Gumpaste bluebonnets and yellow roses, various Texas-theme decorations (state flag, oil derrick, Texas Longhorn, cow skull, armadillo. Texas A&M logo). This cake will be my entry in our 2006 County Fair, I'm hoping it will due very well! Last year I took reserve champion, while grand champion went to a fellow CC'er.

Bluebonnet (Stages)
This flower was featured in the most recent version of "American Cake Decorating", and is our state flower so I just couldn't wait to try it! Not difficult, but very time consuming, as I do not work with gumpaste on a regular basis and each flower is made up of 20 to 30 pieces!!!
