Peacock Cake
A madeira sponge filled with homemade lemon curd and lemon buttercream, covered in fondant. Airbrushed ombre effect with gold cake lace, and a peacock topper following the YouTube tutorial by Zoe's Fancy Cakes. A couple of things I'd do differently next time, but I'm generally pleased with it.

First Attempt With Russian Tips
I don't do buttercream usually, but wanted to have a go at using Russian tips. I don't think the buttercream was the right consistency, but I was reasonably pleased with how these turned out. The cakes were a rose flavoured sponge, with a rose flavoured buttercream. I made these for my colleagues for Valentines' day.

Airbrushed Ombre Cake With Wafer Paper Butterflies
A gluten-free sponge, filled with white chocolate ganache buttercream and raspberry jam, covered with white chocolate ganache and fondant. This was my first attempt at airbrushing, and I'm fairly happy with it. The numbers on the top are clumsy though!
