What is "gunge"? Kaysie Lackey shows you how "gunging" will take your fondant cakes from good to great. Gunge allows you to seamlessly repair imperfections in your fondant, smooth over cracks, fill the space where your tiers meet, and give your cake a slick professional appearance.
I learned something similar by a sweet little lady from the UK. Take some fondant on a clean surface & slowly add just plain water & keep mixing it in little by little. This tho was for the purpose of piping that I use to over pipe on my designs. Works great, it's like working with royal icing.
Yes, please clarify what that chisel tool is that you're using. I don't have one and it appears vital to the process. Thank you for the wonderful tutorial!

Great tutorial, I typically get a small gap in between tiers when using SPS separators, I think this might work for that as well?
Thank you, Kaysie. Very helpful. PS Turn on closed captions and read the interpretations of what is being said....it makes for entertaining reading.
Wow! Great tip. Thanks so
Much
This is fantastic. I can't wait to try it. Thank you, Kaysie. Where can I get the crevice tool you are using?
