AI'd use modelling chocolate or RKT or a mix of the two, stuck on the end of a long skinny cake.
The cake itself makes my stomach turn though, something about the green plaster on top of manky toes. Guess feet have never really turned me on.....ick, imagine eating THAT slice of cake!
AYou can make the curved part out of rice crispy treats. Squeeze together firmly to form. Cover with royal or butterceam and fondant.
Why not just cut 6" or 8" rounds in 1/2 and place them cut side down on a long board?
You don't say how many you have to serve but you could even make smaller rounds if necessary.
AYou are right. I just made a Wildcat for a 7 in. Tier for a reunion cake out of rice Crisped and it's awesome.

...........Because gravity will win and they will separate from one another unless solid "bookends" are used to hold them all together keeping them upright...........
What?? I've done it many times using the 1/2 rounds for the body of dinos. Just a couple of examples:

All that holds them together is b'cream filling.
