Is This A Piped Buttercream Texture?

Someone very recently posted this same cake.
Another person replied that, yes, it is piped on with a smaller round tip. LOTS AND LOTS of time involved in that.

Thanks. I thought so. She's not going to like the quote on this one. All of the other pictures she sent to me were the simpler textured buttercream where you use a spatula.
Any idea about the type of flowers? They look like they could be tulips or parrot tulips to me, but not sure. They look real, but the designer could just be really good at gumpaste. :)
My guess re the flowers: they are real - don't recall the name of them right off though:(
That center flower could be a tulip but I really don't think so.
It' more of some type of lg poppy I think.
Weddbook quotes it as "5-tier white textured wedding cake with huge edible sugar roses topper."

Thanks for your help. I don't think they look like roses because of the yellow stamen that you can see in one on the right, but it could be a mixture of types of flowers too.

That definitely was my guess also.
Could be lisianthus.
Also, you can see yellow/gold stamens inside fully blown roses, depending on the variety.

AYes This is piped buttercream....well a combo of BC & RI mixed together to give the stiff ridges. Very time consuming and labour intensive. And I do believe the flowers are real as someone else posted.
AThe flowers are open tulips. I am not sure what the filler flower is though. I can't get a really good look at it. Could be tulip buds (I am a retired florist)

Thanks! I thought they looked like tulips. I don't know what the filler is either, but I'm sure I could come up with something.
Can anybody help me find the previous post that Beesknees578 refers to where the texture technique was discussed OR does anybody have any insight beyond what was suggested -piping with a combination of buttercream and royal icing with a small round tip? I searched back through 14 pages of previous posts and didn't come up with it. Thank you!
