Hi everybody,
I would like to color my white sugar paste...how can I do to create Ivory and beige/sand colours using paste colours?
and how can I do to create vintage and pastel colours?
thank you so much
You need to invest a few $$ in paste (or gel) colors. These are very strong and you only need a drop or two to get the colors you mention.
As for ivory/beige/sand color try rubbing a wet teabag over the sugarpaste a bit and then knead it in. Repeat until you get the shade you want.
Americolor has an ivory gel color. Use the toothpick method of adding the color to your paste until you get the shade you want.
I use arcolor or liquigel. with a few drops, you can start coloring. Don´t color red or black at home!
As for ivory/beige/sand color try rubbing a wet teabag over the sugarpaste a bit and then knead it in.
thank you so much for all your answers girls!
the method of Kakeladi is very interesting!!!! I'll try it!!!!...just one question: could wet teabag change the texture of the sugarpaste?
I have got some paste colors and I would like to use them to create Ivory and sand color...
using paste colors, what colors I have to mix to create Ivory and sand color?
thank u so much!!
