Roxy, meant to say your mmf looks really good. I might be inspired to have another go seeing that.

Porthcawl's been far from sunny Tiddy! I like the seaside in the wind and rain though, wierd I know!

Also meant to say Hi Kathy, you've got a bad CC addiction if you're checking in whilst on your hols! :-)

I'm off to bed now, can't cope trying to type an scroll in this tablet, I so miss my IPhone. G'nite everyone.

AHi peeps !!

Maisie I'm pleased to hear from you ! Now after a horrid covering of yucky split green I got in from work and it was somehow even worse ! I took the bold move and took it off! It stayed in tact I had some left over choc buttercream so re did a layer then bought waitrose fondant came out good but tiny bit of elephant skin but not too noticeable in comparison to my earlier eye saw !! Here is this my story in pictures ...

BTW I used the lid of my cocktail stick jar for my squares in the end. I HATE MINECRAFT !!

I used some patchwork cutters.  It was quite a footer getting a nice clean edge on them - ended up going round them with a scalpel as I cut them out to get them as clean as possible.  Getting them off the cutting board was really tricky - it took me a while to get the knack of it.  Then I left them to dry for several days.  I figure I cut out 160 with maybe 20-30 breaking after they were dry.  I thought about dusting them, but felt that that undid the effect of the different shades.

Tiddy, only just seen your cakes, I've booked you an appt down with me at the opticians, you must be going GA GA with all those squares? They are very good though and worth it.

Hi Maisie, how you doing my little flower? No I havn't hit the wine yet, I'm been making a fireman Sam to go with Jupiter, he's looking OK, abit better than my wrestling guys.

I have another cake order for the 15th june, this time its a frozen theme but she wants a rainbow cake, think Natt done this si will be picking her brains soon, and I cant remember who recently made Olaf, it was at least 1000 pages back.

Maisie if your in Cardiff tomorrow or Sun they have a Star Wars day in Hamlets, all the figures will be there, am going to take a look.

Olaf was also me (unless I've missed someone else's, which is likely!)

I also did this one, there isn't a really good photo of it though. I would have wanted to do it white on blue rather than this way round, but the mother was insistent on the cake being as free of colouring as possible!

Jo, I am really sorry that this happened to you. This is why I hate colouring the sugar paste. It all goes so soft. But hope you can sort it out.

Tiddy, fabulous cake!!!

AGood morning!!!!!:)

Jo, your cake turned out great!!! I am sure are glad it's over now and thank you!!!:-)

Barbara, the rainbow cake you have to do, is it the one with the rainbow colours inside? I did one of those two weeks back. You have to bake each layer separately. So it is very time consuming. If you need any help with the recipe, give me a shout.

AMorning all :) Fab cakes, Lizzybug love the butterflies, glad you got it there and put together ok, but how sad about the dent! I'd have been fuming at the people who moved it!!

Looove the airbrushed burger Bashini! So tempted to get one....did you have to build a spray booth so it didn't go everywhere?

Just a quickie from me, but just got an email from cake lace with a 10% discount code as it's their first birthday today and though people might find it handy given all the lace making going on lol - on their website enter '1stbirthday' at the checkout :)

Hi Kathy, hope you're having a fab holiday

Oh and loved the grey and dotty cake, very pretty (was that yours Jean?) I love anemones :)

Morning all

Mel I build a booth when I use my airbrush just by propping cardboard up and a piece on the top, I still managed to get some on the wall luckily it was in the spare room.It does get everywhere if your not careful.

AHi Mel, thank you. No, I didn't make a booth, so it did go everywhere. The thing is you cannot see that it's there. But when you take a wet sponge and wipe it all comes off!!!! I was going to do it out side. But since it was raining, I did it in the kitchen. :-(
