I used this recipe several times and everytime i use it everyone LOVES it!! its so yummy!! thanks for sharing!!!!
What kind of frosting is a good compliment to this cake recipe? Cream cheese I am guessing but anything else? Thanks for sharing this recipe, it sounds delicious!
CREAM CHEESE ICING ??
I used to love the boxed BC mix. Absolutely loved this cake. Very moist! Getting more orders lately for this particular flavor. Thank you so much for posting this one!
Have you used it with mm fondant? Would it taste ok with that?
I made this as one of the flavors for my daughters birthday cake and everyone raved about it! I frosted it with a cream cheese butter cream and then covered it with MMF. Thanks for the recipe, it's amazing!
maybe a silly question, but do you make the pudding and then add it, or do you just add the contents of the box of pudding? im assiuming you just add the yellow cake box contents, so i guess its the same with the pudding??
THIS IS AMAZING!!!! i now need to find something to frost it with. anyone have a recipe suggestion for what to fill it with?
apple filling was amazing with this!!! i served it as a cake choice at a tasting for hubby's friend... he decided he "had to have cinnamin swirl with apple filling, no doubt about it!" thanks for a fabulous recipe!
sounds good cant wait to try this one.
What was your recipe for the apple filling that you used?? if you don't mind sharing, I would love to try it.
it was the filling from the sleeves- like the bakeries around here use =)
YUM! How about a brown sugar buttercream frosting!
I'm presuming that this is baked in a bundt pan. Is that correct?
I baked in a regular round pan.
So excited! A friend of mine loves cinnamon rolls and requested a cinnamon roll cake for her birthday this year. I wasn't sure how to make one. This recipe arrived just in time. Can't wait to bake it. Thanks!
For questions about what frosting to use, I've always used just a little butter, powdered sugar, and milk recipe. Make it light to medium consistency and use a pastry brush to brush it over it until it is a little saturated. Let it dry. I have always baked the cake in a bundt pan.
