this is a recipe that my grandmother used when I lived in mexico a long time ago
now I make it for my kids with a cup of hot chocolate and they cant get enough
Churros
Ingredients
1 cup all purpas flower
3 eggs
1 Tbls cinamon
3/4 cups butter or margarine
1 Cup water
pinch of salt
1 cup granulated sugar
vegteble oil to deep fry
Instructions
bring water, butter and salt to a boil add flower remove from heat and mix well
in a seprate bowl mix eggs then add to flower mixture and mix buy hand or with mixer
once mixed I use a large pasry bag with my large star tip and with my pan ready with the oil very hot I squize out dogh to form a spiral circle
I deep fry for about 3 to 5 minutes turning once then I tranfer to a plate with paper towel to remove exses oil and finish off by dipping them in the sugar and cinnamon mixture
What is the best oil to fry these in. Also about how many churros are made from this recipe? Thanks
