Cream cheese filling
A favorite filling that I often use between layers. Especially wonderful with any fruit! Try a three layer sponge cake, each layer covered in this filling and simple fruit and glaze. (i put fresh berries in a plastic container wit lemon juice and sugar, let sit in fridge for an hour, press berries, boil juice and a pinch of cornstarch…. use the berries in the layers and drizzle the glaze over the top.

Ingredients
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 powdered sugar
- 2 cups whipping cream, whipped
Instructions
- Beat cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth.
- fold in whipped cream.
- add additional powdered sugar to small portion of the filling to be used as a dam between layers.
1/2 of what for powd sugar? Cup?
Great recipe. I modified the recipe by reducing the powdered sugar and whipped cream to give it more of the cheesy taste, without the modification it tastes kinda like sweet cream.
