Carrot Cake XIII

My friend owns a “patisserie”, he gave me that recipe. It’s yummy whether you sprinkle icing sugar on top, or if you use Cream Cheese frosting.

Carrot Cake XIII


  • 240gr brown sugar
  • 240gr butter
  • 5 eggs
  • 400gr grated carrots
  • 300gr flour
  • 1 tsp Baking Powder
  • 80gr walnuts


  1. - Beat sugar and butter until fluffy.
  2. - Add eggs one at a time while beating.
  3. - Add carrots, flour, baking powder and walnuts.
  4. - Bake at 150°C until toothpick inserted close to the center comes out clean.
  5. - Sorry I don’t know the baking time, because I usually do it by trial.
