Rich butter, macadamia nuts and white chocolate come together to make this cookie that melts in your mouth.
White Chocolate Macadamia Cookies
2 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
3/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
1 cup brown sugar, packed
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1 egg yolk
1 tablespoon pure vanilla extract
1 cup macadamia nuts, chopped
1 cup white chocolate chips
Combine flour, baking soda and salt, set aside.
Beat butter and sugars together.
Add egg, yolk and vanilla.
Incorporate dry ingredients until combined.
Fold in nuts and chocolate.
Chill dough 30 minutes.
Preheat oven to 325°F and prepare baking sheets with parchment.
Using a cookie scoop that is approximately 3 to 4 tablespoons, scoop dough onto prepared baking sheets.
Bake until golden brown, 12 to 15 minutes. Cool completely before serving.
