Instructions

1. Take tops off strawberries and leave whole
2. Add strawberries, brown sugar and just enough water to keep sugar from burning to a 2qt pot. Cook on LOW until strawberries are cooked down and mushy. It might sound like a lot of brown sugar. But when it is put between strawberry cake layers it is wonderful.
