Mocha Cream

This recipe is great for a filling in a cake, or on the side with brownies! I love the way this tastes and how easy it is to make!

  • 1C. Heavy Whipping Cream
  • 2 TBLS. Powdered Sugar
  • 1 1/2 tsp. Instant coffee dissolved in 1 tsp. water.
  • 1/2 tsp. Vanilla

  1. Beat all ingredients together until soft peaks form. Enjoy!

Mocha is actually a type of coffee bean in the arabica family. It is not a chocolate flavoured coffee bean. Aside from that, mocha frosting is delicious and a common European flavouring.

I have made mocha filling lots of times and everyone loves it.. my recipe is very similar to this one but I add 2 tbsp. of cocoa to it.. it is one of my best sellers.. just thought I'd let you all know, since you were wondering about the chocolate aspect :)

This sounds wonderful. I am in my 3rd week of lesson 1 of the Wilton cake decorating class. We have to bring a filling for cupcakes this week.. guess what I am going to bring? Yep this mocha fillilng. Thanks for the recipe.

Thank you so much! I was looking for a filling for my chocolate cake with Kahlua and vodka. This is it! (i just hope it tastes good) ;)

Tried this recipe today. I had a double layer chocolate cake, filled it with this Mocha filling. I frosted it with the Butter Cream Dream recipe I found on C.C.

I then make a dark chocolate collar to surround the cake. I piped the mocha filling on top and stuck home made chocolate leaves in the filling.

I love how light this recipe is, with a nice hint of coffee flavor. The perfect complement to the icing and the chocolate.
