I just had to comment on this recipe. I did not make th e actual cake, but I made the filling/frosting & it was delicious! I was nervous in the beginning becuase the ingredients was not thickening. I realized that the ingredients needed to simmer for over an hour to start to thicken. This was also a very easy recipe to make. I will for sure be making this again!
So I may this and the asked fantastic! BUT, the cake was so crumbly (and moist) that I couldn't end cut it. It just turned into a crumbled heap. We ended up just eating it by the spoonful because it was too good. Any thoughts on what to change the make it more dense?
