Pumpkin Spice Bread
A wonderful way to bring in the Holidays! Delicious recipe and always a hit. Makes your house smell really good too!!
Ingredients
- 3 cps Sugar
- 1 cp veg. oil
- 4 eggs (beaten)
- 1 can (16 oz) solid pack pumpkin
- 3 1/2 cps all-purpose flour
- 2 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tsp nutmeg
- 1/2 tsp cloves
- 1/2 tsp allspice
- 1/2 cp water
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine sugar, oil and eggs. Add pumpkin and mix thoroughly. Combine all dry ingredients together; add to pumpkin mixture alternately with water. Pour into two greased 9″ x 5″x 3″ loaf pans. Bake at 350 for 60-70 minutes or until bread tests done. Cool in pans 10 minutes before removing to a wire rack. Cool completely before slicing.
(Caution) Bread will rise! Only fill loaf pan 3/4 way full.
