Bells And Whistles (Front)

Bells And Whistles (Front) on Cake Central

This cake was created for Dame Gillian Wier, an English organist, who gave a concert at our church. The organ pipes, handmade from gumpaste and painted with silver petal dust, represented the various styles of pipes on our organ. The trumpets at the top were made from royal icing and painted with copper petal dust. (The back of the cake is the following photo.) The cake is actually in a "figure eight shape" composed of two 12', two 9" and two 6" rounds and an oval topper. All is covered in rolled fondant.
