Hello Kitty
This is my very first carved cake, and the first time i've ever used fondant. I wished I had covered the cake board with something first. I carved it out of two half sheet cakes. It was fun, I can't wait to try something new! I made this for my daughter's 5th b'day and it was a hit!

Thanks for the comment. I didnt use a pan for this cake, I baked two half sheet cakes and then hand carved the head and then the body. I was looking at my daughters party invitation. I iced it with butter cream and then covered with fondant and cut out the different pieces of her outfit out of fondant, the bow was also fondant. Cooking the cake and cutting it was not the challenge it was the fondant, Ive never worked with it before.
